Analyzing a prospectively assembled database from a tertiary US medical center, focusing on colonoscopy patients before and after the introduction of a real-time computer-aided detection (CADe) system. It was entirely up to the endoscopist to decide upon the activation of the CADe system. Endoscopy physicians and staff participated in an anonymous survey about their attitudes toward AI-assisted colonoscopy, which was given at the beginning and end of the study period.
CADe was used in 521 percent of all observed instances.
